Managed to see the endemic animals of Ethiopia in the Semien mountains.

Travelled to Lalibela famous for its underground churches and then castles of Gondar for their history and culture.

Chilled on such a beautiful island in the Indian Ocean with white beaches and turquoise waters.

Headed to safari to have some rest and recreation time after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Completed a dream of a lifetime and climbed the Lemosho Route of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Visited Rwanda to see the gorillas at Volcanoes National Park, Gisenyi on the coast of Lake Kivu, Nyungwe National Park and Kigali.

Travelled to Lake Nakuru to see if the flamingos had reappeared for the first time in 8 years. Then spent two days in Amboseli National Park famous for its elephants.

Revisited Kenya to see the Great Migration. The movement of over a million animals from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. 

Explored the southwest coastline along the Mediterranean visiting Anamur, Alanya, Antalya, Cerali, Demre, Kas, Oludeniz, Fethiye, Dalyan, Marmaris and Pamukkale. 

Arrived in Istanbul a week before Hagia Sophia got converted from a museum to a mosque. We were one of the last people to see the place as a museum. 

Spending lockdown in South Africa.

Once in a lifetime experience in having breakfast with giraffes.

Flew over the Masai Mara to catch a glimpse of the big five at sunrise.

Three day safari in the Masai Mara. Experienced Africa with all its senses from seeing the big 5, hearing lions roar and tasting the local food. 

Followed in the footsteps of the Egyptian Pharaohs from seeing the Great Pyramids of Giza, exploring Cairo to taking a river cruise down the nile.

Travelled around Amman, swam in the Dead Sea, visited Jerash, saw Petra and finished with a tour of Wadi Rum and quick stop in Aqaba.

Explored Southern Sri Lanka visiting Dambulla, Kandy, Ella, Udawalawe, Mirissa and Galle. No trip is complete without taking the famous train from Kandy to Ella.

Decided to take a trip to the Andaman Islands, an idyllic paradise nestled in midst of Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea.

Completed two safaris in India; Ranthambore for the tigers and Kaziranga for the one-horned rhino. See which one we enjoyed more and why.

Followed in the footsteps of the Maharajas, hopping around cities and deserts.

Started our month’s trip to India with the Taj Mahal and it did not disappoint.

Enjoyed New Year in Gili Air, one of the GIli Islands. Marine life was stunning especially the turtles at ‘Turtle point’.

Chilled with the Komodo dragons on Christmas Day 2019 and did some diving.

Stopped in Surabaya on our way to Komodo to see the sunrise over Mt Bromo.

Swimming with jellyfish in a stingless lake. It is one of two places in the world where your able to do it.

Visited the world’s largest Buddhist temple, did a jeep tour round Merapi volcano which erupted in 2011 and saw one of the largest Hindu temples.

Travelled to Bukit Lawang to see our first Sumatran orangutan.

How we found our Open Water PADI in Phuket, Thailand.

Explored the temples of Bangkok and then heading to Khao Sok the world’s oldest jungle.  

Escaped to Lonely Beach for a bit then visited Angkor Wot and Phnom Kulen National Park.

Travelled for a month from North to South Vietnam vising natural wonders, rice paddies and finding out the history behind the Vietnam War.

Visited China a day after their 70th Anniversary celebrations and did the Beijing, Xian and Chengdu route.
